Selected innovators will present their solutions in a five-minute pitch before an expert committee representing some of Europe's leading rail organisations, receiving direct feedback on their technology's practical application and market potential. The presentation will take place on the 20th of October 2026 at the UNICORN Startup & Innovation Hub in Graz, Austria, as part of the official RAILCONNECT programme.
The expert committee includes senior representatives from:
"Rail operators are facing a common challenge across Europe— how to capture and transfer decades of operational expertise to the next generation of employees," said Ferenc Boroczky, Founder of Another set of eyes.
"We're honoured to have been selected through the Call for Innovation. RAILCONNECT is an excellent opportunity to demonstrate how technologies developed for knowledge capture, immersive learning, and operational performance can create value for the rail industry. Just as importantly, it gives us the opportunity to receive feedback from some of Europe's leading rail experts and continue refining our solutions alongside the industry."
The invitation builds on Another Set of Eyes' growing involvement in the European rail sector, including collaborations with MÁV Group and Johannes Kepler University Linz, and reflects the company's continued expansion across Austria and the wider DACH region.
RAILCONNECT is a European innovation event organised by ACstyria in cooperation with the Austrian Transport Science Society (ÖVG) and UNICORN Startup & Innovation Hub. The event brings together railway operators, technology providers, startups, researchers, and innovation leaders to explore current challenges, emerging technologies, and cross-industry innovation with practical application in the rail sector.
A key feature of the event is the Call for Innovation, where selected companies present their technologies to a panel of senior industry experts who provide practical feedback on market readiness, system suitability, and application within the European railway industry.
